Commonwall complete
The panels take the viewer on a journey from early morning to dusk. The journey begins at dawn in a fern garden, then moves through a party in a backyard around a washing line, and on to a homestead at dusk. The party includes a symbolized reconciliation, integrating stylized Indigenous concepts. As daylight fades, the narrative moves into a more sombre landscape, perhaps scarred by bushfire with burning skies. Despite the hazards, the viewer arrives safely at a homestead in a field of regenerating ferns; vigorous and bright. The sky is clear.
