The wall background is done. A big thank you to everyone! A barbeque was enjoyed by all to celebrate. Many thanks to Anthony for his culinary expertise; thanks also to Mark for helping cook on the barbeque: In painting session 3, Dan, Sissy, Darren and Robert completed the backdrop. The Sleeping Beauty silhouette is now slumbering beneath the red sunset sky. Bright green fields and dark forested hillsides stretch across the walls. The homestead detail has been painted, and the ply house overlay cut. The white and grey detail will now be added to the ply to give it a 3 dimensional feel. Everyone worked together to paint in the entire mountain range expanse across the full 55 metres. Robert, again helped get the detail together and continues to be invaluable with overall assistance and expertise. Sissy's fern trunk design was cut out of marine ply which will be sealed and attached to the wall when the painting is completed. Josie has been on hand to step in and help. Now we can paint in the details, and also start sealing and preparing the ply. The next session is Monday 1st September from 9.30 am to lunchtime. Robert and Caroline will be on site to help. Everyone is welcome.
