Today, 8th September, the creative "Campbell Street Boys", Mark, Chris, Troy and Richard helped paint the ply cut outs. Sissy continued to paint in the detail in her ferns across all 19 panels. The ply shapes are images that have been digitsed by Caroline from the tenants' drawings and photographs. Erica from "Associated Plastics" helped fine tune the digital files and Robert from "Xanderware" routed and laser cut the images out of ply. The marine ply was supplied by K&D Hobart. The paints as well as the ply varnish are supplied by Simon from "Tas Paints". A huge thank you to every one for your generosity and all your great work! We temporarliy placed Margaret the gardener on the wall to test out the colour against the various backdrops. Robert is back this week and will begin painting in his washing line and party panels, including the ugg boots with hairy legs and fish net stockings! We are on track to finish by the end of September. The next session is Friday 12th September from 9.30 am to lunchtime. Caroline will be on site to help. Everyone is welcome.
