The wall has started: Dan, Darren, Sissy and Robert began by preparing the wall and painting in the backdrop. The homestead shape was first sketched in using a projected image which was first drawn onto card, then cut out to create a stencil. Dan's red sky is the sunset/burning horizon in panels 17 and 18. Darren's The 'Sleeping Beauty' mountain range was also sketched in. Sissy has started on panels 1 and 2 by painting in the grey toned mountain backdrop. We are now going to paint in the rest of the background before we start on the next layers of detail. A big thank you to everyone! We paint Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30 am to lunchtime. Robert and Caroline will be on site to help. Everyone is welcome.
